When you receive a call, the name and number of the person calling you is
displayed on your Caller ID display unit.
How to use:
1
When you receive a call, wait until your telephone completes the first ring.
2
The caller's telephone number and the name associated with that number in telephone
company records will automatically appear on your display screen.
3
If you choose to answer the call, the name and number will remain on the screen until
you or the caller hangs up
NOTES:
Caller ID service requires a Caller ID display telephone or a stand alone Caller ID
display unit. Both are available from KPU Telecommunications.
Inquire about adding Caller ID/Call Waiting service.
For Caller ID information to be delivered to you the caller must not have blocked Caller
ID information prior to the call. For Caller ID information to be delivered from long
distance calls, all long distance carriers must support the relay of Caller ID information
and the caller's telephone company must offer Caller ID service.
