Fast Mustangs & rain what a weekend

1995 was a year of new aircraft with the appearance of the World Jet Griffin powered Mustang , A very nice looking aircraft in a basic Polished Aluminum w a green wing and that unique contra prop howl but teething problems kept it from
making a big splash and unfortunately this was the only year that this aircraft appeared at Reno and its tail number has been recycled onto Miss Ashley II so weather it will reappear at Reno is doubtful.

Strega took Reno this year after The Rare Bear came in second place with an engine that just was not performing to its usual standards and Dago Red placing third place and for the first time in many years Dreadnought was not in the gold race after lunching its P-W R4360 in a heat race earlier in the week
