Yikes! It's been nearly a year since I've updated the site so I've cleaned up a few links, the Members List and redirected the 4th Show button back to the information page concerning the upcoming Show & Shine car show to be held at the Federal Building again this year. This will be our fifth show downtown on the 4th and we hope to see many of the new cars, trucks & bikes that have been popping up around town. If your name is not on the Members list and you have paid your dues or at least contacted us, please send me an email and I will correct the error promptly!
But that's not all! I've established an online forum that we can all log into to post topics, pictures and links on. I think this will add to the value of membership in the Kruzers and help us to keep up-to-date on events and member activities. Click on the new icon to register for it and try it out!
(Plus you won't be dependent on me to update the site...)
Update: 6/22/07
Ok, sorry for the delay in getting this site updated. I've got an ad posted up in SitNews that should start generating some interest. I've also got an ad placed in The Local Paper that will be printed for the next two weeks so look for them next Wednesday. Yesterday's meeting was good, but we still need confirmations from people who plan on attending. We will be calling around to all of you to get an idea of how many cars we can expect from our members. Laurel distributed some posters that are going to get posted around town and she also has a number of cards printed for members to hand out to people they meet on the street.

Well, I'm finally getting around to getting some stuff updated around here. I'm working on updating the members section and putting up new galleries and project car stuff along with recent pictures from our awesome 4th of July where we had the place of honor escorting the Grand Marshalls in the parade and an excellent show again at the Federal Building. We had a number of new and unique entries this year with a large public attendance. Huge thanks go out to the Ketchikan Chamber of Commerce and Ron Balzer of the GSA, and of course the big bright Sun for making this year a picture perfect 4th of July celebration.
Update: 2/23/06
Brrrrr!! It's been an awfully cold winter here, but the nights will soon be heating up as our project car gets closer to being, well, a car again! Already there have been crazy people burning the midnight oil and finding parts needed to finish it before the 4th of July this year. As we head into March you can look forward to hearing it roar.
Also be ready to get your own car out if we get a nice break of weather during the spring. This season we are looking to focus less on raising money and more on just having fun, cruising around and good times with friends. We welcome new ideas for events to hold, the latest one being a swap meet for people to get together and swap stories and parts, maybe down a hot dog or two. In the meantime I will work on getting the site updated with some stuff from last year and new photos of the Camaro.
Update: 9/3/05
The summer is starting to wind down, but I just got a call from Sitnews telling me that there will be a write-up and photo gallery of the pictures they took at our Blueberry Festival Car Show. I have also updated the 4th Show button to show the pictures Allen Mayo took. A meeting minutes page is also in the works.
Our project car is back as our main priority as we go into the fall and winter months so unless notified otherwise plan on worknights out at the shop. I will also be bringing my camera out to take some new pictures of the car and everyone working to get it back together.
The Kruzers are preparing to have our 4th of July Car Show at the Federal Building parking lot with the permission of the GSA, Immigration and Forest Service. We are hoping to get as many cars there as possible. All makes and models are welcome and we may even have some surprises show up as well. Click on the button to the left marked 4th Show to get more details on the event.
We have also elected a new president for the car club! Congratulations to Scott May as he steps in to lead the club. Officers Laurel Bray and Lee Caskey were re-elected to Secretary/Treasurer and VP, respectively
I've just been working on some new gallery pages and have uploaded more pictures taken at our events so check out the new pages and keep sending me more stuff to use!
